The beginnings of a public access archive of contemporary Hawaiian history.

Welcome to the official blog for the Richard Kekuni Blaisdell Hawaiian National Archive. This space will be dedicated to sharing content from over 200 boxes (and growing!) of materials from recent decades relating to Hawaiian national identity. Processing these materials is a huge undertaking, and one of our goals with this blog is to provide opportunities for our volunteers to share reflections about their experience and items that hold personal meaning for them. This blog will also include events and other updates that are related to archival materials and research.

We hope to inspire you to want to learn more, connect with this history, and spark new conversations about the future.

We'll keep you posted!
